Diego Rodríguez Romero

Diego Rodriguez was born in Caracas, Venezuela in August 1992. His family moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2003, where he lived until July 2008. Since August 2008, he has resided in Houston, Texas. His literary adventure started at the age of nine when he created cartoons that later evolved into his first illustrated tales. In April 2007, “Las Aventuras de Doña Despiste”, (The Adventures of Mrs. Flibbertigibbet) was presented at the BA International Book Fair where he had the honor of being the youngest author to captivate the public with his refreshing and hilarious stories. The book was successfully published in Venezuela and, like in Argentina, is on its second publication. In both countries, the book has been adopted into the literature program of several prestigious schools.

Diego Rodríguez Romero is a member of SADE (Sociedad Argentina de Escritores de Escobar), Houston Writers Guild and SCBWI (Society of children's writers and illustrators).
